Joka is an emerging locality situated in South West Kolkata near Behala. It is a part of South 24 Parganas District and falls under the jurisdiction of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). The locality is known for hosting the premium Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta). Localities closer to Joka are Thakurpukur, Pailan, Sarsuna, Barisha and Behala.
